On 2nd September 2014, at Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa Province), PVC-MS (stock code PXS) started a installing package of steel structures, machinery, processing, manufacture and technology piping of SRU / Inakl / Amine areas in Nghi Son Refinery & Petrochemical Complex Project.
This package was awarded to PVC-MS by the General Contractor JGCS (consortium of contractors JGC, GS, Chiyoda, SK E & C and Technip by leader JGC (Japan).
Erection part has a total weight of 5,000 tons. Equipment installation part has weight of nearly 7,000 tons; part of machining and pipes has around 500,000 ID. The total contract values more than VND 345 billion.
Under the plan, at the end of 2016, PVC-MS will complete the package to hand over to the main contractor.
Nghi Son Refinery & Petrochemical Complex Project is invested Nghi Son Refinery & Petrochemical Co. Ltd., started construction in late October 2013. This is a national petroleum key project, taking an important role in the strategy of economic & social development and energy security.
Nghi Son oil refinery petrochemical plant and Dung Quat oil refinery Plant will meet 2/3 of the domestic need of petrochemical products.
