Construction period within 8 months. It was one of the Typical project which PVC-MS has successfully built and handovered to partners in October 7, 2009 at Vietsovpetro base service port.

Sutuden Northeast oil rig is built for the purpose of oil and gas exploitation in the Sutuden oil field. This mine was discovered in May 8000-2000, now this oil field was explored and exploited by Culong Joint Operating Company. Estimated exploitation in initially time with capacity about 60,000 barrels per day. Serving the oil exploitation is one big vessel ship - Cuulong M / V 9 has a capacity of 1 million barrels of oil and can handle 65,000 barrels of oil per day.

Along with the Su Tu Den oilfield development, Cuulong JOC has also deployed the exploration and evaluation of the "Su tu vang" and "su tu trang" oilfields. Predicting combinations of 3 oilfield "Su tu den", "Su tu vang" and the "Su tu trang" is the second largest oilfield reserve in Vietnam less than only the Bach Ho oilfield. This oilfields is located in the 15.1 block, offshore at continental shell of Viet Nam, from Vung Tau City about 145km to the east.
